The vast majority of satellites transmit TV channels and Data at the same time.  It is not always easy to find our which satellites can be received where and which channel is available on which beam.  Each satellite has different beams and each beam has different transponders (transmitters).

Regularly there will also be frequency adjustments because of New of ending TV channels or data service.  These factors make it nearly impossible to know all channels, on which satellites they are available and where they can be received.

If you need to start searching for a channel or would like to see which channels are available on a satellite a good place to start is www.lyngsat.com.  They have a long standing database of satellites, channels and coverage.  Keep in mindthat the information is not always up to date.

For a quick coverage overview of the most common satellites you can use the links on the right which will show you each satellite’s footprint.
